Our University Technical Sciences Vocational School (TBMYO) Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Technology and Operation Program and Unmanned Aerial Vehicle and Technology Student Community (İHA-TEK) students participated in the UAV-1 Commercial Pilot Training program organized in cooperation with Ostim Technical University and Skyview Aviation Trade Co. Ltd. Co. The training was held between November 7-12, and students were provided with theoretical information as well as practice flights.
After the theoretical training process was successfully completed by Skyview Aviation Trade Co. Ltd. Co., practice flights were held in the area in front of our University Central Library. The flight trainings, which included a total of 40 participants, provided students with comprehensive experience in Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) technology in the fields of UAV Mapping and UAV Agricultural Spraying in addition to UAV-1 Commercial Pilot Training.

Prof. Dr. Mehmet Özalper and TBMYO Director Dr. In order to share the students' excitement and closely examine the training, Lecturer Fatih Şevgin participated in the practice flights and supported them. Stating that he wanted to see the students of the Unmanned Aircraft Technology and Operation Program as pioneers of the aviation sector, Prof. Dr. Alican said, “UAV technology is one of the important fields of the future. It is a great source of honor for us to see you evaluate such opportunities offered for you to be successful in the path you have chosen by studying in this field with the awareness that success begins with preference. With the trainings hosted by our university for the UAV-1 Commercial Pilot Training Program and held on November 7-12, our students gained practical flight experience as well as theoretical knowledge. In line with these opportunities, we will continue to train our students as pioneers of the aviation sector and I would like to state that we will always be by their side with our support. I would like to thank our TBMYO Director Dr. Lecturer Fatih Şevgin, Skyview Aviation flight instructor Kürşat Acar and his team, and İHATEK Student Community President Ufuk Aksoy for their coordination and contributions during the training process and wish the success of the participating trainees to be permanent. Muş Alparslan University will continue to train the aviation professionals of the future with such opportunities it offers to its students.” It was stated that at the end of the training program, candidates who participated in the course will receive the General Directorate of Civil Aviation approved UAV-1 Commercial Pilot License, UAV-1 Commercial Pilot Training Certificate and Radio Communication Certificate. The practical flights ended after the questions directed to the instructors were answered and a group photo was taken.
