Lecturer Dr. Yavuz GÜLER from the Department of Electronics and Automation, Lecturer Dr. Hasan GÜNDÜZ from the Department of Computer Technologies and Lecturer Cengiz ALMAZ held an external stakeholder meeting at the Türk Telekom Provincial Directorate on November 20, 2024.

The purpose of this meeting was to evaluate cooperation opportunities in the fields of electronics, automation and computer technologies, to discuss current needs and trends in the sector, and to determine joint projects and cooperation areas that will support students to have more efficient internship experiences in order to contribute to education-training processes.

During the meeting, cooperation models that will enable students to gain practical experience in accordance with the curricula of both departments were emphasized. In addition, ideas were exchanged on new technologies, methods and innovative solutions in line with the future needs of the sector.

Türk Telekom Provincial Manager Ahmet SÖYLEMEZ also took part in the meeting and shared valuable information about the expectations and workforce requirements of the sector.

These types of external stakeholder meetings are of great importance for our students to follow the developments in the sector closely, to receive an education compatible with the labor market and to facilitate the process of finding a job after graduation. Such studies aimed at strengthening our university's collaborations with the sector will continue to increase.
